DuPont ValueShade® -- Application Guide ValueShade® is the DuPont system that improves topcoat coverage and color match - especially when applying transparent OEM glamour colors. For easy reference, every ChromaSystem topcoat color is coded with its correct ValueShade® number, from VS1 (white) to VS7 (dark gray). When you apply an undercoat of the correct ValueShade®, you get faster topcoat hiding in fewer coats, better color matches and significantly increased shop productivity. These shades can be obtained using undercoats or topcoat groundcoats. Groundcoat formulas are available in the stock numbers shown here, in all MasterTint® topcoat qualities.
VS1 = L9601 / VS2 = L9602 / VS3 = L9603 / VS4 = L9604 / VS5 = L9605 / VS6 = L9606 / VS7 = L9607 Undercoats
